Grit Laskin – Steel String Guitars

Grit’s Steel String Guitars

Grit builds 3 different models:

The SMALL version is almost as small as a standard classical guitar and comes exclusively with a 12 fret neck joint.

The MID-SIZE version is almost as big as a dreadnought in the widths of the upper and lower bouts but not as deep, and with more rounded lines.

The SEMI-JUMBO version is the same depth as the mid-size but larger in the other dimensions. The lower bout is 16 5/8 inches wide and somewhat more rounded.

SCALE LENGTH: 650 mm (25.6 inches)

What I got exceeded my expectations. Not only is it a great guitar to play in all different styles – it’s great for lead work, for rhythm, and the armrest will add years to my playing. Last, but by no means least, it’s a gorgeous work of art that I use every day.
